 Subject: reprogram key fob

I seem to have accidentally deprogrammed my keyless entry by using it while the truck was turned on. How do I reprogram it? I tried the protocols at

but they didn't work. I never got any chirps. I tried calling the local dealership but they wouldn't even answer my questions, just wanted to set up an appointment (which would cost money no matter what). It's a 99 Dakota Sport 4x4.

Thanks for that link. I'm glad to find a TSB. My fob is definitely supposed to be programmed by methods C or D. I just tried C -- didn't work. Checked the batteries in the fob and the button connections with a voltmeter and it is working fine. Method D says "Dealer program method." I'm going to have to pay them a ton of money for 2 minutes of work. I think before I do that, I'll buy another fob or two off ebay. Until then I'll keep getting in my truck the old-fashioned way.
