i was wonderin if any one knew whether or not kits and parts for '93 and '94 models would work on a '92 model. i can always find stuff for those two but never for my '92

The 1991-1996 model years are referred to by the Dak enthusiasts as "Generation II", and everything interchanges. You can even use some of the Gen III items, like 17x9 R/T wheels. When I bought my 2001 Regular Cab, I measured the inside bed measurements and tailgate to see if my 1993 Snugtop shell would fit my '01. The measurements were identical, the top fits, and the only modification I had to make was to bend a curve on the center of the Snugtop's rear window frame to match the Gen III tailgate's bulge on the upper edge.
