I have owned a "98" Dakota since new. I have taken care of it but it has not been a garage king. It has started pealing the paint on the foof and the front of the truck. Has any one else encountered this problem? Newt

Yeah, I also got a '98 Dakota and the paint is coming off the roof and front. The truck is a dark purple color. Hoping to have it painted sometime before long.

same with my roof. took mine to the dealer, the service manager took some polaroids and sent em to DC, few days later offered to repaint the roof at a cost of $100 to me, they'd cover the other $300-something.
decent deal.
better deal would be no peeling, but oh well.

hope its not a problem like those periwinkle colored neons... i never seen one of those with an original factory good paint job.
