I accidently lost the gasket number for my rear diff (don't care to use sealant), which I had saved from a thread on here several years ago. After conducting a search, I'm no longer sure I have the 9.25" rear. It has 10 bolts, 03, 5.9, 4X4 QC. Order code was DMH. The thread I lost listed a part number from auto zone stores. The searches today found a 12 bolt gasket.

If you have a 10-bolt rear, you have the 8.25" rear. Here's the FelPro gasket number:

RDS55047

And as an FYI, the number for a 9.25" rear is:

RDS55073

If the sides are round, it's a 8.25.

My 01 QC, trailer towing, LSD, etc, has the 9.25,
why doesn't your 5.9, 4x4, 5.9. 5.9?, they still made those dinos in 03? :-)

If his 5.9 has AWD, that's probably why it has the 8.25.
