I'm looking into buying a 2002 or 2003 Dakota.
Can you tell me what features the SXT has vs. a regular Dakota. I'm particularly interested in the ext. cab. Dakota. Thanks for any info.

base sxt package: 3.9v6, auto, air, p/s, p/b, 16"x8" wheels, charcoal colored front & rear bumpers and fender flares

SO is the SXT a step up from the base Dakota? What size engine does the base Dakota have? Are power windows and door locks and cruise control options on an SXT? Thanks

those yrs i believe is was like this:
Base, SXT, Sport, SLT. for p/w, p/l, cruise options, step up to a Sport or SLT. my '00 QC sport came standard w/ cruise & tilt wheel, 3.9 & 5spd manual. no p/w or p/l. they were options but i wouldn't want them anyway.
