Message: Does anyone know if any company makes locking hubs for 97-04 dakotas? I would love to keep those front CV's from spinning...would get so much better gas mileage outta my stock V6...is it possible to convert to them? Oh do some sort of custom modification to use them? Driving from Florida to Michigan completely loading Im gonna need all the gas mileage i can get...I'm seriously contemplating taking them out for now (they are bad and need to be replaced anyway, but I dont wanna spend the $200 for em...so Ill just drive em till they snap in half...LoL. Thanks alot

Message: Back in Sept 2004, I asked Dynatrac. Here's what they said:
Thanks for the recent e-mail. Unfortunately we do not offer a kit for the Dakotas. Sorry! I know the engineers are looking into new kits, but have not got any formal word on which ones are going to be done. Please keep in touch, I might have some further info come new year. Thanks again!
