I just got a 2003 Dodge Dakota SXT. Mine has a 3.9L V6 and a 5 speed manual. I am trying to figure out my towing capacity. In order to do this I need to know my axle ratio. But how do I find out what axle ratio mine has? Also the tranny is a 5 speed HD manual. Does the HD stand for Heavy Duty?

My old 99 Tacoma V6 would tow 5000lbs. I hope this Dakota will do that or more.

My 2001 has the axle ratio on a label right on the axle... I'm guessing that yours does, too.
