Okay I can vouch that german engineered vehicles rust to hell. Don't know why, but they do. But quite a few of these companies that used to be foreign have american corporations now. As I recall Dodge has been quite german for quite a while. Kind of like people that immigrated here legally, and have had generations of families here, unlike the stow away mercedes, lol. How could you not like dodge? Why are people predjuudice against brands anyway? I can see that the Tacoma is a much more useful truck than the rapkota for real work, hands down, which is why I take its side

Get real children. I pull 8000 lb loads of hay and haul 12-1500 lb loads of feed every week. Tacoma's just don't do that period. Nice little town trucks for hauling the sofa across town or going to the beach or camping. A Tundra will keep up with a Dakota I suppose, but you don't see many of them used for real work around here.

Dodge is a division of Chrysler Group which is a wholey owned subsidiary of DaimlerChryslerAG based in Stuttgart, Germany.
Did you not know that Chrysler was swallowed up by Benz, making Dodge German.

If it were true it would. Unfortunately, since it is not true, The Chrysler Group will remain German for quite some time along with Dodge and Jeep.

The stock was sold to Benz. Sorry, but Deutsche Bank owns more DC stock than anybody else. The Majority os stockholders of DC are not in America.
DC is German through and through. You drive an import, at least by your logic. If a Tacoma is an import then so is a Dakota.

Take a drive down to your local Toyota dealer. Drive through the used car section. Notice you will see more Dakota's than Tacoma's. I did and guess what. 4 Dakota's 3 Ram's and only one Toyota truck on the whole lot. HMM wonder why! They had a 2003 Ram for $13K and the Toyota truck was a 03 Tacoma with a 4 banger it was going for 17K.
Both trucks are good trucks, just one is for rich people with weekend toys and the other is for week long work. I had a Tacoma (99 TRD V6) It was a good truck and was expensive to keep. I now have a 03 Dakota SXT. I'm more happy with it. As I feel like I am driving a real truck. The Tacoma was to light and rode rough. The dash felt as if it were held together with tape. I liked the Tacoma but like my Dakota better.

Exactly my point. There is a big difference between pulling a hay wagon and towing and hauling a full bed.
Either way it's no big whoop. A car can pull a full hay wagon. The tongue weight on a haywagon is zilch/zippo/zero/nada. That doesn't make the Dak better than the Tacoma. Just more readily accessible for redneck farm hands.
And it's "God You're dumb" not "God your dumb". "You're" is the contracted form of "You are". "Your" is the possessive form of "you".
