Subject: Help! 16" to 15" rims IP: Logged
Message: I want to purchase a second set of rims to mount snow/ice tires on. Can I put stock 15" x 7 rims on my 2002 QC that runs 16" x 8 rims? Will the 15's clear my brakes?

Message: no, the tires will burn up or maybe even explode as they turn. this would cause a nuclear reaction and destroy the world. so, maybe its not a great idea.
however, if you fly it to Iraq, tell all of our guys to leave and then cause the nuclear reaction.....i think we'd all be okay with that.

Message: I don't know if I'd trust that anonymous post by "yes" - I've heard the calipers on the larger rotors in the trucks with 16" rims will interfere with the 15" rims.

Message: Funny that Daknut should mention Nuclear Reaction...I ship radioactive material for a living. I have 1 yes and 1 no. Now I'm really confused about this caliper issue. Anybody know 100% for sure?
