Does anyone in the Southern Ontario area know where I can get this product? I've been to Canadian Tire and Walmart. Neither one carries it. Haven't tried any speed shops. Who is the manufacturer and do they have a website?

If you have any large auto parts franchises in your area such as Autozone they may have it. 3 in 1 oil seems to be very similar but I'm no expert on the subject.

Marvel Mystery Oil - Canada - Amsoil Amzoil

ch4ngv,

Think about these points:

Marvel Mystery Oil (a.k.a. MMO) contains solvents in a mineral carrier. Many of these solvents are lighter fractions of petroleum, and will thin-out your engine oil.

You are going to have, as a result, a thinner motor oil and a modified additive chemistry that may be harmful.

Almost every oil company states in their technical sheets NOT to add aftermarket additives and there is good reason - aftermarket additives change the "delicate balance" of additve chemistry.

I have made many posts here (search under Slick 50, zMax, MMO, Marvel Mystery Oil (MMO), DuraLube) regarding the HAZARDS of using any additives. There are a few good advantages to additives ... but VERY few. It's the fact that oil chemistry is a science and many hours and lots of $$$ goes into blending oil. To think that an additive maker can come out with something that works in improving the quality of an oil without disturbing the existing oil's chemistry is definitely not thinking about the long term consequences. Chemistry clash is a good reson not to mix differant oils and/or additives to achieve your own "homebrew".
