Message: On my 92 it was not very difficult. It is a little tight in the back of the engine. It is only 2 bolts, an electrical connection and I think a vacuum hose as well. Hardest part is snaking everything back in because you have some vacuum lines, plug wires and fuel all in the same spot, and it is right next to the distributor.

Message: Hi, I have a 94 5.2 and just changed mine today, it is not a rough job, like sneezer said, the biggest pain is getting it in and out through all the wires and hoses. And when I put the new one in, I put the gasket on the bottom of the egr and held it on with the bolts, made it a little easier to line everything up, then I started to tighten the bolts, and then pushed the egr down so it was flush with the engine(I mention this because if you tighhten the bolts down before the egr is flush, they will feel tight but the valve will be loose) good luck
