Really? The recall affects vehicles from the 2000 model year. Yeah, they really jumped on this one right away!
"Ford says it knows of 63 alleged vehicle fires and of one alleged injury associated with a fire."
Hmmm, they didn't mention the house that burned down due to the Ford parked in the garage.

There was no warning to any of these fires in the Fords. Even though many would argue it, it's very unlikely that Dakota/Durango ball joint failures occurred without some noise before any wheels fell off.
