Message: 110,000 miles...automatic trans. 5,000 since last change. we've gone through a batch of sensores since we bought the truck @ about 35,000 intervels. howevere when those went out we had a warning light. not so this time.

Message: Was the proper fluid put back in the transmission when the service was completed? These transmissions are sensistive to the fluid type. Your's will function properly only when filled with Mopar ATF+4 or equivelants. Also, improper fill level can give you similar symptoms. When warmed up, put the transmission in NEUTRAL (this is imprinted on the dipstick), then pull the transmission dipstick to read the level. Checking it cold or while in PARK will give false readings. Last, but maybe not least, were the previous repairs and services performed by a qualified and trustworthy mechanic/technician?

Message: You know I haven't It's been in the shop soooo many times that I don't want to give them the time or day.
However, over the weekend at home we pulled of the NICE plastic skid plate, & the pan. And found what we beleive to be a piece of a spring & about 1/2" of metal debree on the magnet!
So far its not looking so good. So now we may be looking at a rebuild. I guess the only way to find out is to crack it open & see what surpise we have. It's just so odd that the check engin light didn't go on. As sensetive it is.
