IP: Logged

Message:
I was removing the headlight housing, and i stripped the top torx screw. unfortunatly, it didnt strip until it was halfway out, so i can't fix my headlight alighnment, and i can't pull it out. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to fix this? suggestions would be greatly appreciated as soon as possible

did you strip the threads or the head? if its the head of the screw just get a screw extractor kit. I know craftsman makes one and put on the end of a drill and should back it out. or take a pair of vice grips and see if you can lock it on there and spin it out .

sorry, when i say stripped i don't mean that the threads on the screw are stripped, i mean the head is rounded and the torx wrench has nothing to grip to turn it, thanks

If you have a Dremel tool and a cutting disc for it, you can cut a standard screwdriver slot in the head and remove the screw.
