Either:
A.) you didn't submit the post fully...which I've definitely done many times. Remember after you click the Preview/Post button, it goes to a preview page, then you gotta hit Post Now!.
or
B.) If the entire post is gone, it's been pushed back to another page...check the other pages and see if it's there.
