 Subject: Dented tailgate

My darling husband just backed our 2004 Dakota into a tree while trying to turn around. The tailgate was down and there is now a nice dent with peeling paint on the driver's side. Where can I get a replacement tailgate? I am assuming this can't be fixed and will need to be replace! I wanted to choke him!

I am assuming that 2000 - 04 and perhaps earlier tail gates are the same.
I would hit a few junk yards and see if you can find one and leave your request and number.
Painting a tailgate is probably more expensive than buying one. So it would be best to find one already painted the same color.
