Message:
I have just placed a factory rebuild in me truck.
It is a 5.2 liter with an automatic transmission.
after placing the transmission in and working out a couple minor ploblems the engine acts like it does not want to fire.
as far as I know we didnt touch anything that has to do with the engine with the exception of the starter, the engine turns over but it will not fire.
Does anyone have any input as to what could be the problem, maybe a sensor or something I am missing?

we checked the spark and it wasnt firing.
however it was running last night with no problems except the transmission.
I guess maybe the coil or something could have gone bad, but I figured maybe some input from other people would also help.
we didnt get as far testing the coil, that will be tomm. morning
but thanks alot for the suggestion

What is that?
Where is it located?
How can I go about fixing or checking it?

It's goes in your transmission bellhousing...the easiest way to get to it in my opinion is by removing the inner fender on the passenger side.
