Subject: Wanted: 2001 stock cd/radio IP: Logged
Message: Anyone have 2001 cd/radio system for sale. The clock in mine has died and dealer wants $40.00 to take it out and another $250.00 to see if they can fix it. I live in British Columbia, Canada.
I have already looked on ebay, found one but they ship ups and I would get nailed on duty.

Message: I have a factory CD/am/fm radio from an '04 Ram. 2001 was the first year for the round face and they are all pretty much the same(meaning it will work). The radio was taken out of a new truck and swapped for aftermarket. $100 and it's yours. Just pay shipping. I live on the east coast.

Message: Hey SS: why don't you read other postes, and find out how take the deck out yourself! and then go to a bone yard and see if you can get another one for cheap. or just install an after market deck? who knows might save you a bundle of money.

Message: Minorthreat and 04Sport, the dealer is getting back to me tomorrow (Tuesday) regarding a solution to my cd/radio. I have told them that when the truck is not running the clock keeps perfect time, its only when the truck is running it looses time. Neigbhour is a mechanic and said its not an internal clock problem (as the dealer saying) its something with the electronics and the dealer should be able to find the problem. I'll keep you posted as to the results of this.
