So I tried the key ON OFF 3 times trick and holy shiit a code appears. I checked under the search block and man I don't understand all the jargen. Sure its a tranny warning, what does it mean? I have an appointmnt for my balljoints on monday so i'm gonna have it checked out. Is this covered under the powertrain warranty if something is damaged? Is it big bucks. And no i haven't had any obvious problems. 2001 4.7L 4X4 CC transmission is a 45RFE

so the dealer tells me if the engine light is off then this code is expired and not to worry about it. They could put it on the machine and it would cost 55 bucks to erase it.
