Hey guys yesterday I got in my truck put it in reverse and nothing! It didn't move, well actually it did it started rolling foward down a hill on my driveway. After pulling it from where it is I put it in drive and it goes foward fine but it still isn't getting into reverse. I talked to a few people and most said that it sounded like a blown transmission, but one friend that knows a lot about cars said that it could be the drive shaft. What do you guys think? The worst part about this is that I had the 75K warrantee and I now have 78K on my truck :(.

maybe one of the cables isnt properly set so the shifter is not actually putting the tranny in reverse. have a experienced mechanic check it out

Bet you got a stuck valve in the valve body > Have seen this more then once
