Subject: temp sensor IP: Logged
Message: what is the purpose of what appears to be a temperature sensor, at the lower dash drivers side. It is where my right knee is while sitting in the seat. I have standard ac/heat not auto temp control.

would be near my right knee if I were in the drivers seat
looks like the sensor that is in front of the radiator support -the one for the overhead computer outside temperature

Message: Just a guess.
When you turn on the AC, the compressor doesn't run continuously, but is controlled by a "thermostat" in the cab. That's probably it.
