 Subject: Neutral Safety Switch

Neutral Safety Switch... Will this allow my truck not to start?? I think my switch failed... I tried starting my truck today, but it didnt crank at all. All the lights work, but when i move the key into the START position, nothing works or cranks. If I hit the starter relay with the key in the ON position, the truck starts.I took it to a mechanic and he replaced my ignition switch, and that wasnt the problem. Do you think this would be my problem??
