 Subject: Random dash bing

My dash gives a warning bing noise (same one when low on gas) at random times for apparently no reason. No lights come on, just the bing. Anyone know what is going on? 01 QC 4x4 4.7

Have not heard of that very often. Just checked and found no applicable service bulletins.

Yeah, I searched around but couldn't find anything about it. It is odd; sometimes it will sound three times in ten minutes, other times it will go for a day with out making a sound. Doesn't seem associated with anything, jsut random. I'll be contacting the dealer for the ball joint recall soon so I'll ask them about it.
