I can drive at 70mph and a smooth drive.

Then I can touch the brakes and I get a horrible vibration all the way into the steering column and I can feel it on the steering wheel as well.

Okay I am scheduled for the balljoints to be replaced Thursday. Could that be the problem? Or could it be tie rods or the break rotors. It has gotten worse over the past 6 months. The balljoints do pop when making a sharp turn.

rotors. make sure they torque the lugnuts correct when the wheels go back on (by hand, not by impact gun) or you will be right back for a vibration again
