Message: Hello All,
I am in the market for new tires for my 98' Dakota 4 x 4 Sport. Size is 31x10.5R15.
I've read the comments on the BFG All-Terrain T/A's. What about Michelin LTX AT's? I know they're expensive but they seem to get good reviews on the web. Anybody have any thing to say about them, good, bad, otherwise? Thanks.

Message: Forget the michelins if your going to use them in snow or cold climate. The BFGs are probably better for you and better suited for your truck. Even though i dont like both of those tires and would buy Goodyear AT/S i would have to say that out of the two you posted the BFG would be my choice.

Message: I have 11.50 x 31 LTX's on my Bronco and love 'em. The only problem I can say I have with them is I'm not sure that they are ever going to wearout. My lil brother runs the BFG's and he likes his as well. I'd say either one is going to be a good choice.

Message: I'm also in the market for new tires for my 98 Dakota 4X4. It has stock 31x10.5 on it but I was wondering if I could fit 32x11.5 on it with the stock rims. Anyone? Will it rub at all? I'm planning on getting BFG Mud Terrain tires for it. Any response is appreciated.

Message: I just put the Michelin LTX's on my 2000 Dak. So far, they are far superior to the stock Goodyears. I have driven in severe rain twice, and they have performed excellently. I don't really take the truck off road, and we don't usually get a lot of snow here in Jersey, so I am very happy with this tire.
