Subject: Trip odometer not in sync
IP: Logged

Message:
I have an 04 DAK QC on 33's. When I put the tires on I had the dealer reset the pinion ratio on the comp. to Interco's rotation per mile number, 623. Ever since the trip odometer on the dash and the one on the overhead display do not sync. They are off 2.6%. I calculated the rotations per mile for the tire using Interco's diameter spec and got 609. Approx, the same % diff. as the odometer readings. So for the question.
Do I have them set the pinion ratio to 609. Will this sync the 2? Is there a separate ratio for the overhead odometer, that they forgot to set?
Thanks
