Subject: anyone have moog ball joints fail yet? IP: Logged
Message: Im just wondering because i put a set in 12k ago in my 02 qc 4x4 and the uppers are already smoked. I grease them every 3k and when i greased them yesterday i noticed some movement in the joint. i jacked it and checked them and both uppers are gone at only 12k. so i spent a nice cold hour in my driveway changing them yet again. Anyone else have them fail yet?
im starting to get fed up with this truck. i like every thing about the truck except the crappy front end and the bad gas milage and the constsantly warped rotors. Im just plain sick of wrenching on it, this truck has been babied and maintained like its my job and at 65k its falling apart. If i could find a 05 toyota tacoma with the gear i want this truck would be gone tomorow.

Message: I think the Moogs have a lifetime warranty so atleast you shouldn't have paid for the new ones. I've never heard of the Moogs failing so soon, but then again I just replaced mine with Moogs and I wasn't impressed with the quality of them compared to Moogs in the past for other cars I've used.
I have to agree with you on the overall quality of these trucks though!
