I don't know about the garden mulch. But one time I made the mistake of hauling about 20 bags of concrete int he bed of the truck!

I only did that ONCE. It sat pretty low even with the extra leaf it came with (Tow Package).

I tow a 12 foot trailer loaded no problem.
It's not quite as wide as a full size RAM but being a Quad Cab my entire family fits just fine and it rides great I think.

25k miles now. Hard miles.
Only problems were caused by me going off road denting things up :-P
Had to quiet the rear disc brakes twice to stop that "HUM" when backing up. But that's not bad for 25k miles and I can do the work myself.

It's been a good truck for me I can say. With all my mods into it and how I'm not too fond of the new design it's safe to say I'll pay mine off and keep it.
Once it's paid for I could use a few months worth of payments to buy a new engine from KRC. And then the fun will really begin :-)

Not so sure about an extra leaf being included with the tow package. It definitely wasn't part of the tow package for my '00; but was available as a higher payload package.

Old Crank - glad to hear you joined in with people who like their trucks. I've had several full size, a couple minis, and now the mid size Dak. I find it much more comparable to a downsized full size truck than a mini. Maybe you'll like your next truck even more...
