At what speed should the OD kick in? My 3.9 seems to go in at about 50mph which seems low to me. I drive a lot around 50mph which is inconvenient for the OD. When I try to speed up it has no guts unless I stomp on it to drop a gear. I switch the OD off now unless I am on the highway. Is this correct or fixable? Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

with a VERY lite foot on the throttle it is designed to shift into OD at a minumum speed of 42 mph. since you get into it at 50 you are doing about right with a bit heavier foot. The OD is designed for MILAGE not power or acceleration at higher speeds.
