 Subject: 03 4x4 No balljoint Recall?

I just went to my local dodge dealer today to inquire about the balljoint recall and they informed me that my 03 4x4 dak was not included in the recall and could not tell me why. Anybody have any ideas?

They changed suppliers starting in 2003. Look at the sticker on your door jam. Your truck was probably built after 1/1/2003 and is not included in the recall.

You guys are right, my Dak was made in March of 03. But I still have 100,000 mile warranty on my ball joints right?

I just emailed DC about it and they informed me that my balljoints are different than the ones recalled and only 2000-early 2003 4x2s get the extended 100,000 miles warranty.

Go to the Dodge website and you can enter your last 8 of your vin# and it will put up the recalls.
