Message: To those who are wondering if the recall applies to Canada.
I just called my dealer.
He said they are getting a box of replacement ball joints shipped to them and will call me to set up an appointment when they come in.
I'd suggest being proactive and let your dealer know you're waiting.
Rather than waiting for them to call you first.

Message: Dealers are not required to contact customers concerning recalls, so you should not expect them to do so. I would suggest to anyone in a rush to have the recall completed to follow the suggestion of Hammerdak and be proactive.

The following URL can be used to check uncompleted Canadian recalls by VIN:
http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/index.jsp?screenName=recall&country=canada&emailUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fapp01.extra.daimlerchrysler.com%2Fwccs%2Fca%2Findex_en.jsp
My 2001 QC 4x4 comes up as requiring the following:
Description: UPPER BALL JOINTS
Type: SAFETY
Issue Date: 12/14/2004
Status: INCOMPLETE
This may not be conclusive but it looks to me like the Ball Joint Recall is applicable here in Canada.

Message: I have a 2000 Quad cab. I just used the above link. It comes back with no outstanding work required. So I quess 2wd's are not included. That sucks!
