 Subject: power steering pump

Does anyone know where I can get a power steering pump for an 01 dakota 2wd with a 4.7 for less than 450 bucks. Every place I've called says you can only get them through the dealer, and they want to rip me off for 450 bucks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would even be intereseted in a used pump in good condition.

Shouldn't have bought a ragged 4.7. The magnum PS pumps go for $50-75 at parts stores ;-)

Chrysler List Price: $287.00 USD
Look around, you'll find a dealer that will sell it for list. Anything more than list is matrix pricing, which is BS.
