You will always get the " 12 " when accessing codes this way.
Sounds like possible dirty Air Intake Control
( back of thottle body ) , try this link for info

Have seen this problem 100 times on daks. Mine began stalling at stop lights as well. Reprogrammed computer and it works fine. Many times the idle control valve is not receiving a signal to pick up idle.
