Message: Dunno if it's the same thing, but I installed an MSD Blaster SS coil - along with their 6A spark box and SuperConductor wires and a Borg Warner brass cap and rotor - and saw an immediate 1.5MPG improvement (that hasn't gone away).
If you look back, you'll see lots of posts warning that bigger coils and/or multi spark boxes will wear out your plugs, cap and rotor much faster.

Message: While you will see improvment it is diffacult to say how much of a difference you will see. If your engine is stock you will not see that much of a difference. The primary reason for adding more current and voltage to a plug is to make up for increased current and voltage demand of a high compresson, forced induction, or nitros system. The higher the presure in a cylinder the more difficult it is to create a spark. The stock coil was designed to ignite air and fuel at the modest compression ration that it left the factory with. Most high performance engines also turn much higher RPMs than a factory engine and this also causes a problems for a factory coil. As dwell time decreases the time for you coil to recharge(saturate) it's field is deminished and you start to drop voltage and current in a hurry at the plug. This is one reason you see alot of magnetos on drag vechiles and light aircraft. I have had great results from Mallory and Accel, both companys offer some huge super sized coils.
