Message: The bucket seats do not fully recline because they are not intended to be dentist chairs. Can't you see the liability issues if people were leaning so far back that they could not see the road and/or control the vehicle?

Message: I'm with Nick on this one I too would like them to recline all the way back. Not so I can drive like that and look like an idiot, but for things like taking a power nap while on road trips or waiting for some one or the drive in. Why do some of you have to be a$$holes aboutthis kind of stuff? Do you really think some could even drive with them all the way back? Dickheads!

Message: I don't have a side. Dodge chooses not to make a driver seat fold all the way back simply because a driver does not need to be in that position.
Modify them all you want, it's no one's business how you choose to modify your vehicle as long as it's legal.

Message: Yeh, that really has me pod! Own three vehicles now, however, have probably owned more than a dozen and have never seen anything like that. During spring gobbler, which is more of a ritual around here than a hunt, I'm up most mornings during May before 4:00AM so I like to take a nap during my lunch hour at work. I've been curling up on the back seat of th QC since the buckets recline into such an uncomfortable position. And oh yeh, jason b doesn't have a clue!

And yes, JasonB is a tool, every other automobile I have owned or used has seats that recline all the way.

Message: I realize this thread is old, but Jason's
comment is ratcheting my head. To make a
reply as though he's astonished it's not
obvious to the OP that, if allowed, many
motorists given the opportunity would be
so enticed to drive with their seats in a
fully reclined position such that the they
would be unable to see the road and,
undeterred, would make the attempt
nonetheless resulting in a crash
isssss....hilarious? Mind-numbing?
Frustrating? And THEN, the driver would
blame Dodge and sue them for that? Are you
freaking kidding me? My head is reeling...
The very obvious intention, JasonB...and I
really, truly, am embarrassed for you that
it has to be explained, is to recline the
seat when NOT driving. And to your comment
that a driver does not need to be in that
position... When you take a nap, do you
take naps in a sitting position at a 90
degree angle? Is it not apparent that if
someone were on a road trip and became
tired before they could reach a hotel and
pulled off at a rest stop to nap, but
couldn't fall asleuuep because it's too
uncomfortable to fall asleep the way the
seats are, that this wouldn't create a
more hazardous driving condition?
Your misplaced, illogical reasoning and
even worse rebuttal wa8ruly
