Message: If Dodge got a quality award for 2002 WITH all
the problems us owners list on this site all the
time, just think about the quality the company
has that didn't get the award.
WOW, makes you REALLY think about the junk we are
driving on the roads these days.

Message: First of all who ever heard of Strategic Vision? I would be willing to bet that it is a company hired by DC. Also, here is the answer ....the small print on the bottom......
"Strategic Vision's 2002 Vehicle Experience Study™ surveyed 46,942 Oct-Nov. new vehicle buyers of 200+ models after the first 90 days of ownership. Dakota won in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002."
Did you catch the "first 90 days"? That's still the honeymoon. I'd like to see the same 46,942 surveyed after 1 year of ownership. Consumer Reports(love them or hate them!) has the most true survey system around as far as I'm concerned and they don't rate the Dakota for those years very well at all.
It's just some DC marketing probably meant to overcome the neg. press the Dakota has been getting. In other words B.S.!

Message: I just did a little resaerch and found out that Strategic Vision is a San Diego based research firm that is NOT non-profit or self funded. They are hired to conduct surveys for marketing purposes. Again, just marketing BS!

Message: JD Power does a similar study, their initial quality survey is the first 90s I believe as well. They say first impressions are everything.
I'm in agreement, I'll stick with consumer reports. I also like C/D.
