Subject: '05 photoshop 3" lift IP: Logged
Message: Was wondering what an '05 might look like with a 3" lift so I did a quick lowering of the wheels on this photo in photoshop (I'm no pro). The bottoms of the tires in the photo are lined up. Looks better but I still think I'll hang on to my '00 as long as possible...

Message: Thats more like the ride height of a 4x4. Good Job on the Photoshoping. That's one thing I really dislike about the '05's, how the 4x2 and the 4x4 have the same ride height.
Wonder how long it will be till there are any lifts for the '05's. Guess we have to wait and see.

Message: Probably longer than the old models before you see one. The roads are loaded with the older models in my area and still look how long it took to get a quality susp lift. The sales are not there in my area. The dealerships are full of new Daks and every loyal Dak owner I know hates the new look. Not too many new Daks and Durangos on the road in my area. I'll stick with my 03 RC 2wd and 01 QC 4wd until they fall apart, or every part is recalled!!

Message: The '05 kinda looks like a Cheverolet Monte Carlo with the freakin fender bulge. all it needs are some Cadillac tail fins.

Message: Those big tires and susp. actually make the new dak look.... good! Nice job photoshoping. I really hate the modernization of cars and especially trucks today (besides the new F-150, which is awesome). Everything is getting wierd-shaped and futuristic looking. I think everything is perfect with my genIII dak. But man, this new dak has completely lost the aggressive look daks used to have. Just look at those h0m0s in the ad above :).

Message: I agree with the new styles, but i thing everything goes back in circles.. eventually it may become 'boxier' like the traditional styles. The Fords have always had a nice appearance. I wish dodge would get rid of the 'different'
way of designing and go with 'tradition'. Photoshop is a awesome program to piss away countless hours at work.

Message: well...
whats up with the bubble fenders?
anyway
i dont think id ever buy a new dak, ill stick with my gen 1. it still looks like a truck (nice and SQUARE)...drives like a truck (rough and bumpy), smells like a truck (the un-mistakable of gas and exhaust), and feels like a truck (rugged an solid). god do i love it.
pretty soon, we aint gonna be able to tell any of dodges cars an trucks apart. im pretty sure, the last time i checked, the chrysler 300 was more boxy and and defined then any of dodges trucks. dont get me wrong, the new Ram is beautiful, but wat happened to our beloved dak?
that 8" lift looks bad@ss tho, maybe if they started selling them like that, id think about it...
