I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4.7 and I'm wondering what RPM it should idle when at a stand still in Drive.

Mine is currently idling at about 500/600 and I'm thinking it's a bit low. WHat would cause this (assuming it's not right)?

Sounds a bit low. You might have dirty TB/IAC.
