Message: You don't need to remove the headlight...just open the hood and go from the inside. You'll see how to get in there, and you rotate the dial about a quarter turn and pull and the bulb will come right out. If you have the manual, it explains it well in there. Hope that helps.

Message: I put aftermarket bulbs in my 03 4.7L, and it's a bitch to get to the back of the headlights. I went in through the top of the engine compartment through whatever the sheetmetal at the front of the engine bay is called. For the right hand side headlight, I had to remove the air box and horn to fit my hand through the hole. It took me several hours, a lot of vocabulary not suitable to broadcast TV, and skinned knuckles to do it! However, once you get a good grip on the bulb locking ring, and figure out which way to turn, it's pretty simple. I sincerely hope the learning curve will apply and the next time will be far less traumatic.
I tried to follow the tech manual and remove all the screws holding the headlight in, but couldn't find them all (even with the diagram). Those Torx screws are for aligning the headlights, so leave them alone! Removing them does nothing to help remove the headlight assembly. Trust me!

Message: 04 qc has 3 bolts holding bucket in place
1 on bottom outside between the park light and headlight
2 on the side towards radiator.
once all bolts removed you need to pull bucket free (there is a ball and socket that needs to be popped out on side closest to fender).
