Message: Has anyone replaced the crappy warping mopar brake drums with aftermarket ones ? Mine keep warping. Took it to the dealer and they resurfaced them. THE NEXT DAY THEY WERE WARPED AGAIN!!!! I want to replace them with aftermarket drums to try and cure the warpage problem. Has anyone put on aftermarket ones ? If so, are they "warp free" after a good amount of mileage?
Help me out guys!
Thanks.

Message: I have not had any problems with front or rear brakes after 62,000 miles, but I am considering replacing the rear drums with a disc brake conversion set.

Message: Anyone else replace them ? I thought about a disk conversion, but its too expensive for me. Someone must make better drums than dodge. What companies make drums for a 2000 dak ? Any?

Message: I just got pricing from NAPA for Raybestos. $60 for each of the front rotors and they have a guarantee. The salesman assured me that they do not come from the same manufacturer as the stock junk that is on my truck now. I'm now doing any fancy conversions because my truck stops fine when the brakes aren't warped.

Message: Wayne, did you have any problems with your drums warping? Mine seem to act very strange. They seem to randomly warp and un-warp whenever they want to. I would be driving along and hit the brakes, and they would seem to work great. Then the next time I brake they would shake like crazy. I would think that if they were warped they would be warped all the time.
Any thoughts or opinions anyone??

Message: I am not certain, but I think that means that one of your rotors is warped, not both.
