A friend told me that Dodge made the 97 and maybe 98 dakotas with an 8ft bed...any truth to it...if so I'd love to get my hands on one!

aww now I miss my 92 LB again :-( If I could buy a Dak with a LB and a club cab, I'd never buy another truck again. It's sad that they never made that combination available. I guess it would have taken too much of a bite out of the full-size truck market for DC?

I would never buy a quad cab dakota unless it came with the 6 foot bed. I've seen a few dakota long beds, only 2 wd as well.

I think my 95 CC would look kind of odd with a long bed.
