Subject: 318 in 94 dakota IP: Logged
Message: I wondering how hard it would be to put a 78 318 in a 94 dakota with a 3.9 V6. Could I do away with the computer and make carbetor instead of fuel injection? Can I use the stock tranny?
Thanks

Message: As long as the 78 5.2 has a point type dist and
a carb, it will work. I would guess you're gonna
get all sorts of computers error codes that will
have to be worked around unless you can just
unplug it from the system.

Message: Why not swap in for a 94 318 if you look for one in the junk yard you''ll find one (RAm or even in a Jeep)
