Message: It will physically fit, but the profile would be better and the tire would wear better on an 8' rim. It's going to be pinched looking. Even the factory 31x10.5 tires came mounted on 15x8. Time to upgrade your rims ?

Message: you really think that a wheel that is 1/2 inch per side narrow is going to look any different to an untrained eye? Could you really tell if I set up two identicle tires of that diameter and one on 7's and the other on 8's that are the exact same style wheel that you could tell the difference from ten feet away? Don't lie....

Message: Its not looks so much as drivability. A tire has to be on a wide enough rim so that it is properly supported and reacts predictably to loading and steering inputs. 32's on 7's is a bit of a stretch. It may work, but tire life and drivability will be reduced. 32's should be on a 9" rim.

Message: really ? - I am sure. Both that it will looked pinched at the rim, and that I could tell from 10' - I've seen people do things like this. Try it and you'll see, if you doubt. What I'm not sure of is where you get the idea that there will only be a 1/16" difference - that makes no sense. Obviously you're not very sure of yourself or you'd post under your regular name ! A wide 32" tire would be better still on a wider rim, as tractorfix suggests. I suggested 8" since that is what is commonly available, there can be some good deals on the factory 15x8s when people upgrade to a custom rim.

Message: I've the 15x7 rims and have 31x10.5 tires.
They fit well and look fine.
That said,I'd rather have 15x8 rims any day.
