Subject: 2wd tire question IP: Logged
Message: Trying to figure out what's the biggest tire that I can run on my stock 15's on my 2wd dak without rubbing? Not that I want the maximum size, just curious as to how big is too big. Looking to set the truck up a bit higher and a bit wider on the tires (right now if I leave my receiver insert in the truck it will hit the ground backing out of drives & passing low road intersections).
I'm thinking about trying some 31X10.5R15 's...any suggestions on brand and/or where to get a good deal? Would they work ok?
Here's a pic of the truck now: http://www.kcisp.net/~bking/MyBanshees/IMG_0007.jpg

Message: u can put a 31x10.50 on there w/ a tad of rubbing on the front wheels at full lock. Ive had 30x9.50 on my 97 and they never rubbed. As far as brand, its up to you what to go with. Michelins would be my choice, but not can afford them.
