Subject: Computer / Fan Blower IP: Logged
Message: My 2001 Dakota has always had computer glitches-- the engine light comes on after I fill my gas tank, for example (I've learned to live with this).
However, I have a real issue now: the blower motor for heat/AC does not work. It started failing when it would only generate on highest fan setting, then quit completely. Now, it has to be on highest setting to allow hot air in at all (it does not force it). AC does not work.
Anybody seen this problem, or know what it's going to take to fix it?

Message: Ballast resistor block or connections to it..
I believe 2001 it is under dash on passenger side
large connector -5 wires ... the ballast block
should be held on with 2 screws - one each end..
