Message: Brake rotors, drums, pads and shoes are warranted for the first 12 months or 12,000 miles as per the Warranty Manual included with your vehicle. Dealerships are allowed to make exceptions and are even encouraged to do so for loyal customers.

Message: That's not fair....bumper to bumper should mean bumper to bumper (EVERYTHING). I read it in my manual too.
Gonna call the dealer to see what they have to say.

Message: The way it was explained to me when I had new rotors put on at 7800 miles is within the first 12K miles the dealer is allowed to turn or replace rotors free as a case by case good will gesture.

Message: This was of course after I made it plain that "We drove it and couldn't feel a thing" and "IF the vibration happens when braking at 70 mph we can't help ya cause we'd have to break the speed limit to test it" were not acceptable answers.
