i have a 98 cc 4x4. im looking to buy new tires in case it snows this winter (which im sure it will). im pretty much set on getting bfg a/ts but am always looking for opinions of other tires. i need something that will get me through the loose snow and work good on the packed stuff when i get out on the main road. im probly going to go for some 31's over the stock tires. so far the best price ive seen is $112 each at sams club for the bfgs. sounds good to me :)

Good choice - I've been plowing with those for many years. Good bite in snow and fairly quiet on dry pavement.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

Check out the Bridgestone Revos as well. For stores, check out Costco if you have one close. They were cheaper on my last set of BFG ATs. At the time, Costco's price included everything and Sam's charged $9/tire for mount, balance and road hazard.

I have Used Yoko Geolanders AT plus II's on my truck and I'm very impressed with them!
They are cheaper than BFG's and from the rating's I've read they compare closely to the BFG All terrains!
Might be worth considering!
They are very quiet on pavement and I work off the road alot surveying and in the snow (I'm in Canada) and have been very impressed with these tires!
A co-worker doing the same work has the BFG All-Terrain's and he's very impressed with them as well! only thing is they cost a few bucks more!
