Message: Hi, I got a 98 v6 4x4 auto.
I got a prestone leak in the fire wall in the engine dep. passenger side at the level of the head??? comming out from a kind of plug ( mising.

Message: Sounds like your heater core may be leaking. A real pain to change, in most vehicles you must pull the dash. Is it cold where you are ? The quick and dirty fix is to loop one hose from the engine hot water feed to the heater back to the return (bypass the heater core) This unfortunately leaves you without heat (including heated defrost for windshield).

me for a heater core change. It lasted about a
year.
