can anyone tell me exactly how the speed sensor in the rear diff picks up its signal. i just installed a rear dana 60 and it didn't have a tone ring or speed sensor in it and i need to find out how to get my speedo working again. do i need to modify the rear housing to get the tone ring in there and then what about lining the sensor up. i am at a loss. thanks for any opinions

Check out this guy's website. He did a solid axle conversion on his Durango, and uses a Dana 60 rear. He had it modified so that the speed sensor works. His email address is on the website, I'm sure he'll fill you in on all the details. He posts as "SolidAxleDurango" on the DodgeTruckOwners.org Durango Forum. Here's the link to his website: http://www.solidaxle.net/durango_conversion/

Best of luck!
