Subject: New Tires IP: Logged
Message: I recently got in a crash with my dakota, wasn't my fault, long story. Anyways, now my tires have massive flat spots as a result of the extrememly long skid that i did while trying to avoid the car in front of me. Each tire has a spot on it where the tread is completely gone. I had some P.O.S. Starfire's on it, the 5000 series. I want to upgrade to a little more aggressive tire but the problem is i have a lil ol' four banger. I don't want the tires to weigh/slow me down too much more than how i am now. The Starfire's numbers were P255/70R15 if this is any help. Thanks in advance,
Steve

Message: You might look at a GoodYear Wrangler ST, although I don't think that tire size is available in exactly the size you listed. GoodYear has a $50-mail in rebate (good thru 11-30-2004) at many places when you buy a set of four.
